The Texas Queen

Built in Waco, Texas on the Brazos River this classic riverboat ended up in Lake Ray Hubbard. Nice night time scene with a Texas flag in the clouds. The original watercolor was bought my a couple who were married aboard.

Fast racing action at the Lake Texoma Regatta. Another commissioned painting in spicy hot oil.

A splashy watercolor of a racing fleet of sailboats. This one also was featured on multiple magazines about sailing.

A tall ship runs before a stiff wind with the good luck visit of the albatross. Red sky at morning, sailors take warning.

Americas Cup racing off the coast of Australia.

Pirates !

A deadly encounter with pirates in an approaching storm. Dark and dreary watercolors sets the mood and the pirate flag signifies a female pirate captain!

This is the famous tall ship of Galveston, Texas! A very unique painting done in acrylics and painted directly on an actual navigation chart of offshore Galveston Bay.

This cool car from the past was owned by my father-in-law, captured in great detail using colored pencil.

Yes, a chocolate lab with some "who me?" eyes. This oil painting features a lot of hidden rabbits for the families children to search for!

Very nice auto racing scene from the Texas Motor Speedway. Lots of action movement and loose technique in this very popular oil painting.

A corvette and colorful surfboards on the beach, is just sweet! Incredible detail and realistic rendition of a beautiful car in an oil on canvas.

Clown Fish

Extreme close up of a family of clown fish hiding in a sea anemone. Nice transparency in this fun watercolor.

Another splashy racing scene that also made the cover of a sailing magazine.

Shuttle Launch

As described by a Florida sailor, boats head out to a good spot to view the launch of the space shuttle. In reality, the shuttle was much farther away.

Woody on the Beach

Classic beach scene and a classic woody and surfers, a very tropical color scheme and nice sunset.

Whooping Cranes

Inspired by a trip to South Padre Island where bird watchers sometimes see whooping cranes. The glowing sunset on the water is visual perfection.

Unique birds eye view of a beautiful classic wooden boat and a beautiful classy lady. Nice watercolor technique shows the shadow under the boat.
