Charles L. Duhon

Charles Duhon is the most popular Steel Drum musician (also known as a “Pannist”) based in the North Texas area. Charlie has been performing on the Double Tenor and Lead Steel Pans for over 10 years with an average of over 100 live performances a year and has recorded two CDs.  With an impressive and ever growing client list, he is the featured entertainment for hotels, resorts, restaurants, waterparks and more. Charles brings a “cruise ship” style of atmosphere to any event with that vacation music feeling of calypso, reggae, soca and popular songs. At an early age, Charles excelled in both music and art, after getting his degree in Graphic Design and Advertising, continued on with a life long career in Computer Graphics, Design and Fine Art.  After many successful years primarily working on custom commissioned art Charles is once again re-inventing himself and now owns his own fine art on-line gallery. Focusing mostly on creating stunning tropical art for sales, shows and sheer pleasure!

Message from the Artist...
"Because of the amazing success of my Steel Drum Music business, I am no longer able to accept commissions for custom paintings from your photos. The time has come in my art career to create paintings inspired by my love of all things tropical, coastal and the island lifestyle.  The art featured on this new On-Line Art Gallery is the 'best of my best' and about half of my portfolio, the other half was sold to private collectors. I will be announcing new artwork coming someday on FaceBook and originals and prints can be found on this web site. I believe that buying art should never be an impulse buy and I value the relationships with my customers. If you have any questions about my art or issues with your purchase, just email or call me and I will personally assist you."
